Najwan Darwish

Najwan Darwish (; born December 8, 1978 in Jerusalem) is a Palestinian poet described by ''The New York Review of Books'' as "one of the foremost contemporary Arab poets".

In 2009, Darwish was named as one of the Beirut39, a selection of 39 promising Arab writers. In 2014, NPR included his book ''Nothing More to Lose'' as one of the best books of the year.
