Nicholas Hoult

Hoult in 2024 Nicholas Caradoc Hoult (born 7 December 1989) is an English actor. He began his career as a child actor, making his film debut in ''Intimate Relations'' (1996) and gaining recognition for ''About a Boy'' (2002). He achieved international fame for portraying Tony Stonem in the series ''Skins'' (2007–2008), which established his transition into adult roles. His film credits include ''A Single Man'' (2009), the ''X-Men series'' (2011–2019), ''Warm Bodies'' (2013), ''Mad Max: Fury Road'' (2015), ''The Favourite'' (2018), ''The Menu'' (2022), ''Renfield'' (2023), ''Nosferatu'' (2024), ''The Order'' (2024), ''Juror No. 2'' (2024) and ''Superman'' (2025). On television, he was acclaimed for his portrayal of Peter III in ''The Great'' (2020–2023), a performance that earned him Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy nominations. He was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2010 for his role in ''A Single Man''.

Hoult has also worked in theatre, video games, animation and audiobooks, starring in the play ''New Boy'' (2009) at London’s Trafalgar Studios. He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2012 and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
