Najwan Darwish

Najwan Darwish (; born December 8, 1978 in Jerusalem) is a Palestinian poet described by ''The New York Review of Books'' as "one of the foremost contemporary Arab poets".

In 2009, Darwish was named as one of the Beirut39, a selection of 39 promising Arab writers. In 2014, NPR included his book ''Nothing More To Lose'' as one of the best books of the year. Named as "one of Arabic literature’s biggest new stars" Darwish's work has been translated into over 20 languages. Provided by Wikipedia
